Atrium of Captain Miša’s Mansion 8:30pm
The legendary singer Bisera Veletanlić with Vasil Hadžimanov Band will hold a concert on 4 September 2022, at 8.30 p.m., opening a series of musical performances called ‘Atrium Sessions’ in the atrium of Captain Miša’s Mansion, organized by the Belgrade Festivals Centre (CEBEF).
Bisera will delight numerous fans with an outdoor performance in a special setting in the centre of Belgrade. Tickets for this exceptional concert can be purchased online through the tickets.rs website as well as at Ticket Vision outlets at a price of 1,500 RSD, and seven days before the concert, the ticket price will be 1,800 RSD.
Bisera Veletanlić, the star of the big festivals of the former Yugoslavia, is one of the greatest names in the domestic music scene. Her musical style is described by many as a mixture of chansons, local ‘šlagers’ and jazz. She is the recipient of the Nisville Jazz Festival Lifetime Achievement Award.
In her rich musical career, she recorded a large number of unforgettable songs, which marked an entire period in Yugoslav music. She was an active participant and regularly won the first prizes of the expert jury at the festivals ‘Opatija’, ‘Vaš šlager sezone’, ‘Beogradsko proleće’, ‘Zagrebfest’, ‘Split’, ‘MESAM’, and she performed at the local selections for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her most successful collaboration was with Kornelije Kovač and other Belgrade authors, and she also recorded with Arsen Dedić and Goran Bregović.
