At the opening of the retrospective of Emir Kusturica's films on November 19th at the Yugoslav Film Archive, in the presence of guests from cultural and public life, a restored version of the cult film ‘Do You Remember Dolly Bell?’ by Emir Kusturica was shown.
On this occasion, Jugoslav Pantelić, artistic director of FEST (an event that marks half a century of existence this year) announced that Emir Kusturica would be awarded the prestigious Belgrade Victor Award for Outstanding Contribution to Film Art. He emphasized that a special connection had always existed between Kusturica's films and FEST.
The jubilee 50th edition of the International Film Festival – FEST will be held from February 25 to March 6, 2022, organized by the Belgrade Festivals Centre.
