We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to host representatives of the largest art festivals in the region, as well as representatives of local and national cultural institutions. During the two-day workshop, we discussed in an inventive and productive way, and observed various programme concepts and programming strategies of the festivals that are part of the #synergy project, but also exchanged experiences with local experts and cultural managers. The workshop contributed to the improvement and connection of professionals and institutions active in the field of culture and cultural management, but also presented the work of our institutions and organizations at the international level. – stated from the PR service of the International Festival KotorArt.
A series of six two-day programmes called Cultural Management without Borders is part of the activities of the #synergy project, which will be implemented in all six countries participating in the project. Within these workshops, organizational, managerial, artistic, production, marketing and other aspects of art music production will be discussed and analyzed. The workshops are primarily aimed at representatives of partner festivals and exchange of experiences, as well as young cultural managers involved in this European project and together participate in compiling the Guide to Art Music Production, a unique publication that will be the most important result of this #synergy project segment.
The #synergy project: Capacity Building of the Classical Music Industry in the Western Balkans, initiated by the KotorArt International Festival, is supported by the European Commission, through the Creative Europe programme and brings together some of the largest art festivals in the region.
