Kolarac Hall, 19:00
The programme of the Saint Petersburg Russian Miracle concert, which will be held on 25 October at 7 p.m. in the Kolarac Endowment, is based on Russian folk music. The concert is organized in cooperation with CEBEF, and 26 artists (singers and ballet dancers) participate in it, accompanied by an orchestra of Russian instruments.
In this Russian folklore show, songs, dances and the orchestra of Russian instruments are connected in a unique whole. The audience has the opportunity to witness the spectacle of colorful costumes (the artists change their clothes more than five times during the programme), the ‘volcano of passion’ through Slavic melodiousness, to watch the most complex choreographies and listen to the enchanting voices of the artists.
The Moroshka ensemble consists exclusively of professional artists – graduates of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory, many of whom are laureates of all-Russian or international competitions.
The concert repertoire alternates with Russian songs and dances, and in addition to famous Russian songs such as ‘Kalinka’, ‘Glazhu v ozyera sinie’ (I look at the blue lakes) or ‘Vyydu na ulitsu’ (I will go out into the street), the interpretation of folk music by a tandem of excellent directors from St Petersburg will be presented.
The Moroshka Song and Dance Theatre has prepared several surprises for the audience on the occasion of the tour in Serbia!
Choreographer – international competition laureate Elena Viking
Artistic director of the Moroshka Theatre – Nadežda Poltavčenko
The programme lasts for one hour 10 minutes, and admission is free.
