One of the concerts that will certainly mark this year is the world premiere and promotion of the CD release of the RTS Big Band and the famous saxophonist Francesco Santucci – New Seasons. On the 8th of November, in the Great Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, at 8 p.m., together with the pianist Massimo Tempia and the conductor Gabriel Comelli, they will present ‘The Four Seasons’ by Antonio Vivaldi and the famous ‘Pavane’ by Gabriel Fauré, which were given a new sound in Santucci's original music. These are six new compositions superlatively performed by the RTS Big Band, which the composer said was the ‘secret ingredient’ of a good interpretation of this release.

‘I didn't want to do a regular solo album, I didn't want to come up with too many original songs and I didn't want to play the hundredth version of the music standards that are always performed,’ Santucci said.

The audience will have an opportunity to witness a different sound of the RTS Big Band and these marvelous interpreters, as well to hear Francesco Santucci as a creator, who recognized Vivaldi and Fauré as composers whose music he managed to ‘translate’ into his own musical language.

The concert is realized in cooperation with RTS Music Production and the Belgrade Festivals Centre – CEBEF.
