On the second day of BEMUS, 2 November 2022, at the Kolarac Endowment, the world-renowned chamber choir from Romania, MADRIGAL – MARIN CONSTANTIN, with conductor Anna Ungureanu delighted the audience with a unique audio-visual experience, when with special projections it turned the hall into a timeless space reminiscent of cathedrals from the Renaissance period. The choir, in addition to exceptional performance, is characterized by lavish authentic costumes and a stereophonic stage setting. At the end of the concert, Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac's composition ‘From my Homeland’ was performed with the soloist Silvia Nastase.

Today, the Romanian National Chamber Choir ‘Madrigal – Marin Constantin’ is a public concert institution of national importance subordinated to the Romanian Ministry of Culture. The honorary director of the ensemble is the internationally renowned conductor Ion Marin, and since 2014 the management of the institution is coordinated by Emil Pantelimon. The principal conductor of the Choir is Anna Ungureanu – disciple and continuer of maestro Marin Constantin, and since 2016 the assistant conductor is Cezar-Mihail Verlan.

In November 2016, the Madrigal Choir was awarded the title of Ambassador of Freedom, Hope and Peace, being granted the Jean Nussbaum and Eleanor Roosevelt award at the United Nations Palace in Geneva, during the Global Summit on Religion, Peace and Security.

In 2019, in addition to the Christmas and Easter tours and concerts, the ensemble was an integral part of La Cetra d'Orfeo Ay Amor!, a project conceived and led by the Belgian musician Michel Keustermans at the Georges Enescu International Festival, and in November the female voice sections (soprano and alto) joined the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jon Marin, at the ‘Doppelfenster: Beethoven und Pergolesi’ concert.
