On the final night of this year's Cello Fest, which was held from 7 to 14 November under the slogan ‘Two Decades of Glorious Adventures’, young cellists Vuk Mladenić, Kristina Antić, Vukašin Nikolić, Zeljko Tamburić, Relja Mitrović, Duša Jovanović, and Petra Miljković performed with the Stanislav Binički Ministry of Defence Art Ensemble in the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall. The conductor was Rade Pejčić. The programme featured works by Tchaikovsky and Dvořák, and young talented cellists, students of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, impressed the audience in the packed Belgrade Philharmonic Hall.
The opening of this year's festival dedicated to the cello was marked by a concert by the famous cellist Mischa Maisky, who performed with the Maisky Trio, followed by spectacular concerts by László Fenyő and Natalija Mladenović, St George Strings with soloists Robert Lakatoš and Dragan Đorđević, as well as Viva Cello concerts by young cellists and master classes by Attila Pasztor, Danijela Milutinović Nenić and László Fenyő.
